Rob Bell's Strange Theology

This is an example of why it is vitally important to read, study, and understand God's Word so we will not be led astray by false teachers.
According to many who study scripture, including many wise theologians, Rob Bell's teaching fails the test of biblical historical accuracy not to mention the misquoted references in his new book 'Love Wins', which appear to be nothing more than an attempt to sway others toward his altered view of the gospel.
The beliefs of this apparent wolf in sheeps clothing is being exposed on national TV by exceptional journalism. Rob Bell never expected this journalist to
do his homework or to know the truth of God's Word.

Rob Bell's ridiculous teaching and understanding regarding the truths of scripture will only gain a following by non-Christians or those who do not study God's Word, which very well may be false believers as well.

O Lord, impress upon Your people a great desire to read Your Word, to meditate on Your Word, to trust Your Word and not every word that comes from the lips of man. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that illuminates our minds so we can rightly divide the Word of Truth and uncover the deceptive practices of those who teach an altered gospel that lead many astray, may we plead for their souls to be truly redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Help us to not grow weary in proclaiming the truth in these last days.
In Jesus Name AMEN

Unfortunately, you appear to have forgotten to name any of either the examples of error, or those who disagree with the interpretation.

Or to put it another, way, you haven't provided any evidence for these assertions.

Since I feel this quote raises a very critical point, would it be possible for you to cite both the examples you have in mind of 'misquoted references' and failings of the test of 'biblical historical accuracy' (possibly explaining what that phrase means to you as well, for it puzzles me, whether you mean to say theat history as found in the bible is accurate and he misinterprets it, or whether his secular historical understanding of the bible is off) and some sources of 'wise theologians' disagreeing with him.

    Thanks for your help,
